The watch shows age-appropriate signs of use, but the case is thick and robust. While there are some light scratches on the dial and hands, the overall condition is good. The mirror retains its luster, and the tritium luminous material is in excellent condition. All parts are consistent with the original, featuring characteristics unique to this era, such as the circular mirror, 6-dot markers, and pointed crown guards (PCG), making this a highly recommended vintage Submariner for those in search of one. It has been overhauled by our affiliated workshop.

*The luminous dot on the bezel has been relumed.

This model became a hot topic as the world's first diver's watch equipped with a rotating bezel for measuring dive time. The Submariner was developed for true professional divers who operate in harsh environments.

This was the first Submariner model to feature a crown guard, produced from 1959 to 1978. Compared to the Ref. 5513, the Ref. 5512 had a shorter production period and there are fewer of these watches on the market, making it a rare model.

The clean dial without a date, the domed crystal, and the rimless indexes give the design a classic feel.
