The Royal Oak Offshore, which was born in 1992 (announced at Baselworld in 1993), was approximately 20 years after the Royal Oak's debut in 1972. Emanuel Gueit, a then-young in-house designer, was responsible for the design, based on the original Royal Oak created by Gérald Genta.

This is a tribute model to the Royal Oak Offshore End of Days (ref. 25770SN) released in 1999. The movement is equipped with the new flyback chronograph "Cal.4401", and you can admire the black rotor through the see-through back.

The design features a black ceramic case and a "Mega Tapestry" patterned dial, with applied hour markers made of white gold that have been treated with yellow phosphorescent paint, as well as Royal Oak hands.
