Since its introduction in 1956, the Day-Date has established a reputation as Rolex's top-line model. It is Rolex's highest-end model, available only in rare materials such as gold and platinum. The bracelet that comes with it is called the "President Bracelet" after it was sent to the then US President Eisenhower.

The case and bracelet are made of glittering 18KYG and feature a President bracelet exclusively for the Day-Date.
