Product Background

Čapek is a manufacturer founded in Geneva in 1845 by François Čapek, a Czech court watchmaker who enjoyed the support of Emperor Napoleon III. This watch is a new Čapek that was revived in 2011, carrying on his legacy. The Antarctic, which means Antarctica, is an up-and-coming luxury sports model that is highly popular.

Model features

The Passage de Drake is named after Sir Francis Drake, a British explorer who is said to have circumnavigated the globe. The date display is placed at the 6 o'clock position, embodying Capek's aesthetic based on vertical symmetry.

Product design

The unique dial features a unique combination of three-dimensional guilloché engraving and an atypical trapezoid motif, creating a play of shadows and shadows throughout. The hands are reminiscent of swords, creating a sporty and easy-to-read design. The watch is complemented by an ergonomic, brushed integrated bracelet with "C" links.
