Product Background

The 30 mm diameter 18K yellow gold case is fitted with a tropical rubber strap that harmonizes with the black dial with the checkerboard pattern that symbolizes the Aquanaut. The rounded octagonal bezel combines sportiness and elegance, and the date window at the 3 o'clock position and luminous Arabic numerals ensure visibility. It gives a moderate presence even to those with thin wrists.

Model features

Cal.E19C quartz has high accuracy of ±15 seconds per year and a battery life of about 4 years, making it easy to use, and the small diameter 18KYG x quartz is a rare specification that is not currently available, making it both valuable and practical. The rubber strap is resistant to sweat and seawater, making it comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and the luminous indexes make it highly visible even in dark places.

Product design

The Aquanaut, born in 1997, inherited the DNA of the Nautilus while breaking new ground by using genuine rubber. The 4960J, released in 1999, was a transitional model with a 30 mm diameter 18K gold specification aimed at the female market and equipped with Patek's early rubber strap. Due to the popularity of the Nautilus, it is highly valued by collectors, and its rarity due to the small number produced is also an attractive feature.
