Product Background

The Portuguese watch is IWC's pride and joy, a high-end watch that is said to have been modeled after a watch commissioned by a Portuguese watch merchant in the 1930s.

Model features

In 1993, to commemorate the 125th anniversary of IWC's founding, the first model was reissued as the Portuguese Jubilee.
It has been changed to a see-through back specification and is equipped with the hand-wound movement "Cal.9828", which is based on "Cal.98".

Product design

It features a simple design with a cursive logo reminiscent of "Old Inter", Arabic numeral indexes, and a small second hand.
