Product Background

It was born in 1992 (introduced at Baselworld in 1993), approximately 20 years after the introduction of the Royal Oak in 1972.
An impressive design based on the original Royal Oak created by Gerald Genta.
The design was handled by Emmanuel Guillet, a young in-house designer at the time.

Model features

New for 2017, this is a full-fledged diver's watch with a robust stainless steel case that is water resistant to 300m.

Product design

The blue dial features a "Méga Tapisserie" pattern and is accented with white gold applied hour markers and Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating.
It has a see-through case back and is equipped with Audemars Piguet's in-house automatic movement, Cal. 4308, which has a 60-hour power reserve.
