Product Background

The Royal Oak, born in 1972 from the hand of legendary designer Gérald Genta, overturned the existing design codes for wristwatches and became an iconic and historic model in contemporary watchmaking.

Model features

The basic design is almost identical to the "Ref. 15500ST," but the rotor features the molded text "50 years" to commemorate the 50th anniversary, creating a sense of exclusivity.

Product design

It features a simple yet luxurious design, combining a stainless steel case with a black dial. Compared to the previous "Ref. 15500ST," the "AP" logo has been removed from the dial, and the indices and hands have been lengthened to improve visibility.
