A pioneering antimagnetic wristwatch designed to meet the demands of engineers and scientists. The name of the watch, "Mille," means "1000" in French, and is derived from the fact that it can withstand magnetic fields of up to 1000 gauss. A unique combination of design and chemistry, this is a model unlike any other in the world.

The internal shield is made of a ferromagnetic alloy carefully selected by Rolex, and boasts antimagnetic properties that are worthy of the Milgauss name. In 2007, about 20 years after production ended, the Milgauss made a spectacular comeback with the legendary lightning hand, but it will be discontinued in 2023.

The anniversary model "Ref.116400GV" is the only Rolex model to feature a green sapphire crystal. It revives the "lightning bolt" hands that were used in the early Rolex Milgauss, making it a nostalgic design for Rolex enthusiasts and a fresh new look for modern users.
