This is a dead stock item.
The dial is a later model, and the back cover sticker remains in good condition. Deadstock Ref. 79180s with their original boxes and warranty cards are rare, so this is a recommended item for collectors.

The Chronotime is popular because Rolex supplied its exterior parts and its appearance is somewhat reminiscent of Rolex's manual-wound Daytona.

Model features

The Chronotime series bezels are available in three types: plastic tachymeter bezel, rotating bezel, and stainless steel bezel. It has a similar feel to the hand-wound Daytona and is a very popular model.

Product design

The unique kamaboko-shaped stainless steel case goes well with the black dial, and the silver subdials tighten the overall balance.
