The case and bracelet show signs of wear and tear appropriate for their age, but the lugs are thick and sturdy, making this a very impressive piece.
The dial is a rare circle mirror 6-dot design from the early Ref. 1016, and is in excellent condition with a strong luster still intact.
The hour and minute hands were replaced in later years, but the other parts are consistent and the condition is good, so if you are looking for a vintage Explorer, this is definitely one to consider.
