There are scratches throughout the piece appropriate for its age, but for an item from the 1970s there are no major scratches and it is in good condition.
The dial and hands were replaced in later years, but this is a rare early A serial number example.
This is a piece that has the character of a vintage Royal Oak and is reasonably priced, so I highly recommend it.

*The crown and buckle were replaced in later years.

The Royal Oak, which overturned the design codes of the time, became an icon of contemporary watches. The Royal Oak was designed by Gerald Genta, a genius designer in the watch industry, and was born in 1972.

The current Royal Oak is popular, but it is an even rarer model with fewer units in circulation.

It is commonly called "Jumbo" because of its 39mm case size. The "AP" logo at 6 o'clock and the Petit Tapisserie dark gray dial are also impressive.
