Product Background

The LANGE 1 MOON PHASE, launched in 2002, features a continuously moving moon-phase display that very accurately reproduces the lunar cycle. Its astonishing precision means the deviation between the moon-phase display and the actual lunar cycle is just one day in 122.6 years.

Model features

Beneath the solid gold moon disc, a solid gold sky disc completes one rotation in 24 hours. The sky's hue changes with the time of day, transitioning from light blue during the day to dark blue at night.

Product design

In addition to the moon phase, a day/night indicator has been newly incorporated, uniquely designed so as not to interfere with the dial aesthetics.
