There are some scratches appropriate for its age, but the case lugs are thick and have sharp edges, and the hairline finish remains beautifully intact, making this a good example.
The dial, which matches the time period, is in good condition with no noticeable scratches or deterioration, and the tritium luminous material has burned evenly, giving it a nice vintage feel.
There is almost no twisting in the bracelet and the overall condition is excellent, so this is a watch that we highly recommend to anyone looking for a Ref. 1016.

*The second hand is tritium luminous but has been replaced.
