A Note from the Appraiser

Although there are some scratches and small marks due to use, the watch is in good overall condition, including a sturdy case and bezel that do not appear to have been overly polished, and a dial with no signs of missing tritium luminescence.
There are no accessories included, but the selling price has been kept low, so if you are looking for a semi-vintage Day-Date, please consider this opportunity.
Overhauls are performed at our affiliated workshop.

Product Background

When it was released in 1956, it was the world's first wristwatch to display the date and the day of the week in full. It is Rolex's top-of-the-line model, available only in rare materials such as gold and platinum. The bracelet that comes with it is called the "President Bracelet" after it was presented to the then US President Eisenhower.

Model features

The Ref.18248 is equipped with Rolex's in-house movement "Cal.3155", which allows quick change of the date and day of the week and time adjustment. It also has a function called hack function that stops the second hand when the crown is pulled out.

Product design

The 18K yellow gold case and champagne dial are beautiful, and the combination with the Bark specification is very rare.
