Product Background

Deepsea is launched to celebrate film director James Cameron's historic solo dive to the deepest part of the ocean, the Mariana Trench, at a depth of approximately 11,000 meters.

Model features

The first titanium model in Rolex history, released in 2022.
It is waterproof to a depth of 11,000m (36,090ft), which is the ultra-deep sea depth.

Product design

It features a powerful design, with a case diameter of 50 mm, a thickness of 23 mm, and a 9.5 mm domed sapphire crystal.
The case back is engraved with the words "Mariana Trench" and the dates "23-01-1960," when the prototype Deep Sea Special dived aboard the Trieste, and "26-03-2012," when a submersible piloted by James Cameron dived into the Mariana Trench.
