The Laureato is a sports model from Girard-Perregaux, a long-established Swiss mechanical watch manufacturer, and features a round and octagonal bezel inspired by Italian cathedrals and a streamlined body.

This movement, derived from the famous GP1800, is galvanically treated (anthracite ruthenium) and metal netted. The rhodium-plated gear train allows the eye to follow the movement of energy. A journey into the heart of this mechanical labyrinth of 173 parts, including 25 jewels, catches the eye on the sweep seconds at 10 o'clock, driven by the fourth wheel, which in turn is captured by the rapid amplitude of the regulator with its large variable inertia balance (28,800 vibrations per hour, 4 Hz).

Designed by Girard-Perregaux's watchmakers as an ode to mechanical mastery, the Laureato Skeleton features striking openwork components – all decorated by hand in an exclusive and contemporary way – that lend a subtle depth to the heart of its magnificent automatic calibre.
