This model was a hot topic as the world's first diver's watch equipped with a rotating bezel to measure diving time. It was developed for true professional divers who work in harsh environments.

A new Submariner was released in September 2020, and this model has already been discontinued. The enlarged case lugs have made it even more durable, and the adoption of a parachrom hairspring has improved magnetic resistance and shock resistance.

Released in 2012, it is equipped with a ceramic bezel. Compared to the previous model, the lugs and crown guard are larger, giving it a more masculine impression.
