A Note from the Appraiser

While there are fine scuffs and minor, inconspicuous scratches from use, this is an excellent example with sharp edges on both the case and bezel, and clearly visible hallmarks on the lug side and the back of the lugs.
The watch was overhauled by the manufacturer in February 2023 and comes with an extract from the archives.
Although there is some deterioration on the inside of the box, the guarantee is included, making this a recommended piece for collectors.

Product Background

A two-counter chronograph model based on an aviator's watch—a "chronograph split-seconds"—manufactured in the 1940s.

Model features

It is equipped with the "Cal. 27-70 CHR," based on the legendary hand-wound chronograph movement from Nouvelle Lémania, whose beautiful design can be admired through the case back.

Product design

The dial features a tachymeter on the outer rim, a 30-minute totalizer at the 3 o'clock position, and a small seconds sub-dial at the 9 o'clock position. With its case providing a three-dimensional impression through the thickness of the bezel and lugs, the wide tachymeter-style sub-dials, and a black dial, this model combines a sense of luxury with a sophisticated, understated atmosphere, making it easy to wear.
