Product Background

Blancpain, founded in 1735, is the oldest watchmaking brand in the world.
The Fifty Fathoms is a representative sports model of Blancpain and is said to be "the world's first automatic diving watch."

Model features

Divers' watches are said to have originated in 1953, when they were first made for the French Navy's special diving unit.
The large case features a sapphire crystal unidirectional rotating bezel, and the indices are coated with Super-LumiNova luminous paint, providing excellent visibility at night or underwater.

Product design

Equipped with a silicon hairspring, it features a practical structure that is resistant to magnetism, shock, and temperature changes. With a triple barrel consisting of three barrels, it boasts a power reserve of 5 days, or 120 hours.
