The watch was overhauled and the case and bracelet were refinished by the manufacturer on October 1, 2026. While some minor scratches remain that could not be removed, it is in excellent condition with no noticeable scuffs. The Ref. 5800/1A had an extremely short production run and is a rare model on the market. As it comes with all accessories, this is a highly recommended piece for those seeking this model.

A model that has embodied casual elegance since its birth in 1976, designed by the genius watch designer Gérald Genta.

The Nautilus "Ref. 5800/1A" is one of the models released in 2006 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus. It features a bracelet slightly wider than that of the "Ref. 3800," and its see-through case back allows you to observe the movement in action, including the beautiful 21K gold rotor. As the successor to the Nautilus "Ref. 3800," which was discontinued in 2005, it is a rare model said to have been produced for only three years.

It features a rounded octagonal bezel, a case inspired by a ship's porthole, and a horizontally embossed dial.
