ASICS planned a running festival called the "ASICS Sports Event," which was held for the second time this year. This event aims to celebrate the enthusiasm of the running community and share the joy of running through various activities. The "ASICS Sports Event" offered a variety of fun activities, such as taking photos with world record holders Eliud Kipchoge and Akina Tanaka, receiving advice from ASICS experts, and interacting with fellow runners. The event was held daily during the Tokyo Marathon 2023 EXPO. ASICS also collaborated with the sports equipment brand Salomon to host the "Road to Trail Challenge." This challenge aimed to encourage runners to explore both road and trail running, experiencing the excitement of running on all types of terrain. Furthermore, ASICS organized the "Team ASICS Relay Marathon." This event was designed for runners to form teams and run in a relay format, sharing the joy of running. I was impressed that ASICS provides such opportunities to the running community. Running is a wonderful sport that many people enjoy, and I think it's great that brands like ASICS support this sport and help it grow.
