Product Background

For over 100 years, its design has become one of Cartier's icons. The world's first wristwatch, the Santos, was created in 1904 in response to the Brazilian aviator Sir Santos-Dumont's desire to be able to check the time while flying.

Model features

This rare model was sold in a limited run of just 100 pieces in 2020. It features the Cal. 430MC, a hand-wound movement that is an improved version of Piaget's famous Cal. 430P.

Product design

The case back is engraved with a blueprint of the first aircraft, Le Brésil, designed by aviator Santos-Dumont, creating a design that exudes luxury and ruggedness.
