A Note from the Appraiser

The case and buckle show some light scratches, but there are no major dents and it is a solid, well-made watch. It currently comes with a third-party leather band, but the original leather band is included. This is a very rare Portugieser tourbillon model. The selling price is also attractive, so if you're looking for one, please consider this one.

Product Background

The Portuguese watch was born in 1939 when two Portuguese merchants ordered a wristwatch. It is one of the oldest and most popular collections of IWC watches. With its timeless, contemporary and refreshing design, the IWC Portuguese watch has become an icon of watchmaking.

Model features

The in-house hand-wound movement, "Cal. 98900," is equipped with a tourbillon mechanism, and its beautiful finish can be enjoyed through the case back.

Product design

The 43.2mm platinum case is paired with a dark brown alligator strap by Santoni, creating an elegant impression. The gray dial features a flying minute tourbillon at 9 o'clock and a small second at 6 o'clock.
