A Note from the Appraiser

Product Background

Since its introduction in 1956, the Day-Date has established a reputation as Rolex's top-line model. It is Rolex's highest-end model, available only in rare materials such as gold and platinum. The bracelet that comes with it is called the "President Bracelet" after it was sent to the then US President Eisenhower.

Model features

The movement has been improved from Cal.3055 to Cal.3155, and stability and maintainability have been improved by adopting a twin bridge system that supports the balance on both sides instead of a single bridge system that supports the balance on one side.

Product design

The case and bracelet are made of 18K yellow gold and equipped with a special president bracelet, making this a highly luxurious watch.
