This is a high-end model of the Explorer, developed as a watch for cave explorers.
Durability and functionality were prioritized, with a date function, crown guards, and a distinctive 24-hour hand.

In addition to the date display, the Explorer II offers enhanced functionality such as a GMT feature, and its unique design is another one of its charms.

The lugs are approximately 1mm thinner and sharper than the previous model, while the lug width and bracelet width are approximately 1mm larger.
The orange 24-hour hand, reminiscent of the original "Ref. 1655" model, is uniformly orange all the way to its base, unlike the previous model.
A crown mark has been added between the "SWISS" and "MADE" markings at the 6 o'clock position on the dial.
