Product Background

The Tank, designed by Louis Cartier in 1917, was inspired by a bird's-eye view of the Renault tank that was used in the trench warfare of World War I.

Model features

The Tank Normale is a rare model limited to 200 pieces worldwide, which will be added in 2023 to the Cartier Privé collection, which is a reproduction of the Maison's historical models for enthusiasts.

Product design

The Tank Normale, which was introduced in 1917, is a model with a shape closer to a square than later Tanks. It is an elegant watch with a yellow gold case and a silver dial.
