Product Background

When it was released in 1956, it was the world's first wristwatch to display the date and the full spelling of the day of the week. It is Rolex's top-tier model, offered exclusively in rare materials such as gold and platinum. The bracelet is known as the "President Bracelet" because it was gifted to then-US President Eisenhower.

Model features

The Ref. 18248 is equipped with Rolex's in-house Cal. 3155 movement, which allows for quick adjustment of the date and day, as well as time setting. It also features a hack function, where the second hand stops when the crown is pulled out.
