The world's first wristwatch, the "Santos," was created in 1904 in response to Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont's request to "check the time during flight." Over a century later, its design remains one of Cartier's most popular icons.

It is a unisex MM size, and the movement is equipped with the in-house automatic caliber 1847 MC. An alligator strap with a D-buckle is also included, and it can be easily replaced without tools thanks to the QuickSwitch interchangeability system.

The Roman numerals on the dial and the square railway minute track inside are characteristics of Cartier watch design. Additionally, the case and bracelet feature the screw motifs unique to Santos watches.
