A Note from the Appraiser

There are some unnoticeable scratches on the sides of the case and on the plastic crystal, but there are no dents and it is a very impressive piece.
The leather strap and the included NATO strap are unused.
This is a limited edition model with only 2012 pieces, and there are very few of them available in Japan, so if you are looking for one, please consider purchasing it now.

Product Background

The Speedmaster is one of Omega's most iconic timepieces, having been carried on six moon landing projects. Originally, the Seamaster was equipped with a hand-wound caliber and sold under the name Seamaster Chronograph, but was renamed Speedmaster in 1957, a name that has remained the same ever since.

Model features

This is an updated version of the "Alaska Project III" that was sold in 1978, and is a limited edition of 2,012 pieces worldwide, released to commemorate the 5th anniversary of Speedy Tuesday.

Product design

Its most distinctive feature is the combination of a black dial and white subdials, known as a "reverse panda."
