A Note from the Appraiser

There is a small scratch on the lug at 1 o'clock and some fine scuffs on the case back, but it is in excellent condition with no signs of wear.
This model has become hard to come by recently and prices are rising, but it is in good condition and the selling price is reasonable, so we recommend it.

Product Background

The CK 2998 was worn by astronaut Walter Schirra in 1962 and is considered to be the first OMEGA watch in space. The Speedmaster CK2998, released in 1959, is one of the world's most iconic Speedmaster models. This model was born in 2018, inspired by the original 1959 model.

Model features

Only 2,998 pieces will be produced, with the limited edition number engraved on the caseback along with the original Seahorse emblem.

Product design

The stainless steel case is paired with a sandblasted white and black dial and a black leather strap with white rubber on the inside, which can be seen through small punched holes.
