Product Background

It was born in 1992 (introduced at Baselworld in 1993), about 20 years after the Royal Oak was introduced in 1972. It has a powerful design based on the first Royal Oak created by Gerald Genta. The designer was Emmanuel Guillet, a young in-house designer at the time.

Model features

This is a serious diver's watch with a robust stainless steel case that is water resistant to 300m.

Product design

The khaki dial features a "Mega Tapisserie" pattern, with luminous pink gold applied hour markers and Royal Oak hands. It is equipped with Audemars Piguet's own self-winding movement "Cal. 4308" with a 60-hour power reserve and a see-through back.
