A Note from the Appraiser

Although there are scratches throughout the watch, the case remains solid and impressive. The dial is a rare "red eye" dial, with fine red and green glitter-like particles visible on the matte black surface. The dial is in excellent condition with no noticeable stains or scratches. It was overhauled by the manufacturer in December 2025, making it a rare Day-Date watch that is rarely seen in circulation, so if you're looking for one, be sure to consider it.

*Currently, it comes with an aftermarket leather strap and buckle, but it also comes with a genuine leather strap and genuine K18WG buckle.

Product Background

When it was released in 1956, it was the world's first wristwatch to display the date and the day of the week in full. It is Rolex's highest-end model, available only in rare materials such as gold and platinum. The bracelet that comes with it is called the "President Bracelet" after it was given to the then US President Eisenhower.
