A Note from the Appraiser

We have a very rare Boys Explorer with a mirrored dial in stock. While there are some scuffs and scratches, the case is thick and sturdy, and the bracelet is in excellent condition. The mirrored dial, featuring the rare double T<25 marking, is in exceptionally good condition and boasts a top-notch luster. This is a rare model that is rarely seen in circulation, so if you're looking for one, please consider purchasing this one. This item has been overhauled at our affiliated workshop.

Product Background

This boys' model Explorer is based on the Ref. 5500, which was already available as the Air King and is said to have been made to order for specific regions and countries, such as the UK market, from the 1950s to the 1970s.

Model features

Since most of these are not sold in Japan, they are rare models that rarely come onto the market and are very popular mirror dial models.

Product design

Because it is equipped with a non-chronograph movement, the word "PRECISION" is written at the 6 o'clock position on the dial, which means accuracy.
