While there are scratches and scuffs consistent with its age, both the case and bracelet are in very solid condition, making this an excellent example.
The dial is a rare “X-L-R” dial, featuring the letters from “ROLEX,” “PERPETUAL,” and “EXPLORER” aligned vertically. It has a beautiful, lustrous finish that can appear gray at first glance. The all-tritium luminous material has developed a beautiful patina, adding to the character of this piece.
It comes with the box, warranty papers, and other accessories, making it highly recommended for anyone looking for a fine example of a single-tritium Ref. 16570.
