A Note from the Appraiser

The dial has a "big logo" that matches the era, and the bezel also has "300 Taki" that matches the year of manufacture.
There are some scratches and scuffs from use, but the overall condition is good.
The condition of the dial and luminous material is excellent, making this a well-equipped piece that we highly recommend.
A 6239 in such good condition is rare. If you are looking for a non-oyster manual winding Daytona, please consider this one.

The Cosmograph Daytona, launched in 1963, was designed to meet the needs of professional race car drivers. It is the ultimate practical watch for those who are passionate about driving and speed. Even after 60 years since its birth, it remains unparalleled among sports chronographs and continues to transcend time.

This model was born in the 1960s after the pre-Daytona "CHRONOGRAPH Ref. 6238". The movement is based on Valjoux's hand-wound chronograph movement "Cal. 72" and is equipped with a unique improvement by Rolex.

The bezel is stainless steel, and the dial comes in two types: one with the model name printed on it and one without.
