In 1982, the successor to the original model, the GMT-Master II, equipped with a new movement and improved usability, was released. Its functionality, robustness, and instantly recognizable design have captivated people traveling the world.

It is equipped with the automatic movement "Cal.3185", which allows the hour hand to move independently, and when used in conjunction with the bidirectional rotating bezel, it is possible to read even the third time.
This is a long-selling model that was produced for approximately 19 years (from around 1988 to 2007).

It features a popular black and red bezel commonly known as "Coke" and a highly visible design with a red 24-hour hand that stands out against the black dial.
