A pioneering antimagnetic wristwatch designed to meet the needs of engineers and scientists. The name of the watch, "Mille," comes from the French word for "1000," as it can withstand magnetic fields of up to 1000 gauss.
This is a unique model that combines unique design and chemistry, and is unlike anything else in the world.

The internal shield is made from a ferromagnetic alloy carefully selected by Rolex, giving the Milgauss name a magnetic resistance that lives up to its name.
In 2007, about 20 years after production ended, the Milgauss made a spectacular comeback with its legendary lightning needle, but was sadly discontinued in 2023.

The Ref. 116400GV is the only Rolex anniversary model that uses a green sapphire crystal.
The "lightning hands" used on the early Rolex Milgauss have been revived, creating a face that is nostalgic for Rolex enthusiasts and new to modern users.
