There are some slight scratches, but it is in excellent condition with almost no signs of wear.
This is a rare model with hand-crafted engraving and was never widely available on the market, but production of it ended in February 2024.
The warranty date is 2020 and the selling price is reasonable, so we recommend that anyone looking for one take advantage of this opportunity.

Product Background

The Grand Complication model "Ref.5160/500G-001" is equipped with Patek Philippe's perpetual calendar. Retrograde is a mechanism in which the hands move in a fan shape, and when they reach the end, they instantly turn back and return to the starting point. The basis of a watch is circular motion. The gears rotate inside the movement, and the hands also move in a circular motion in accordance with that movement, but the "retrograde" mechanism, which means "retrograde" in French, deliberately breaks this regular movement.

Model features

The automatic caliber "324 S QR" with a thin perpetual calendar is one of Patek Philippe's pinnacle movements.

Product design

The movement can be seen through the openable officer's case on the case back, and it is one of the few perpetual calendars with a center second hand. The entire case, crown, decorative screws, and buckle are hand-engraved by skilled craftsmen, making this a rare gem.
