A Note from the Appraiser

There are some scuffs and scratches from use, but the case, bezel, and bracelet are all in good overall condition. The dial is also in excellent condition, maintaining a pristine appearance even under a loupe, with no luminous material loss, making it in perfect condition. It's rare to find a Ref. 1803 in such good condition, making this a truly valuable piece. It has also undergone a complete overhaul at our affiliated workshop. Product Background

When it was released in 1956, it was the world's first wristwatch to display the date and the day of the week in full. It is Rolex's highest-end model, available only in rare materials such as gold and platinum. The bracelet that comes with it is called the "President Bracelet" after it was given to the then US President Eisenhower.
