Although there are some scratches and scuffs due to use, both the case and bracelet are in good condition. The big red black dial has some luminous correction at the 3 and 6 o'clock positions, but the luminous material remains beautifully throughout, and the dial is in good overall condition.
It currently comes with a replacement plastic bezel, but we also include a period-matching stainless steel bezel, making it an attractively priced and recommended product. It has been overhauled at our partner workshop.

*A 557B/78350/S1 Oyster bracelet (12 links, 1 missing link) is included separately.
*A warranty card is included, but we cannot guarantee that the warranty card is original.

The Cosmograph Daytona, launched in 1963, was designed to meet the needs of professional race car drivers. As the ultimate practical watch for those passionate about driving and speed, it remains unparalleled among sports chronographs and continues to transcend time 60 years later.

This "Ref. 6265" is the third generation Daytona, which first appeared around 1971. Its push buttons have been replaced with screw-down screws, its water resistance has been upgraded from 30m to 50m, and it is equipped with the perfected manual-winding chronograph movement, the Cal. 727.

The combination of a black dial and white subdials creates a nice vintage feel.
