A Note from the Appraiser

It is in excellent condition with almost no signs of wear.
The leather strap currently attached to the watch is an unused one made to order, and the included leather strap is also unused, making this a great bargain.
The Caliber 9SA4 is a 10-beat hand-wound mechanical movement that has been developed for the first time in about 50 years.
There are still few in circulation and the selling price is low, so if you are looking for one, please consider this opportunity.

Product Background

Near the "Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi" in Shizukuishi Town, Iwate Prefecture, where Grand Seiko is made, there is one of the most beautiful birch forests in Japan, and the strength of the birch, which resonates with the heartbeat of the mechanical movement, is expressed in the carefully crafted stamped dial. This model, which was introduced in the new design series "Series 9," is inspired by a beautiful birch forest.

Model features

It is equipped with a mechanical high-beat movement, caliber 9SA4, and by adopting an escapement with high transmission efficiency and twin barrels, it achieves a high beat of 36,000 vibrations per hour and a runtime of approximately 80 hours when fully wound, while its unique horizontal gear train structure makes it possible to achieve a slim design.

Product design

The distortion-free mirror finish achieved by Zaratsu polishing and the delicately textured case give off a harmonious shine. The combination of the thick, powerful hour hand and the thin, long minute hand, which resonate with the grooved index, provides unparalleled visibility.
