The GMT-Master II, which was released in 1982 as a successor to the original model, featured a new movement and improved usability. Its functionality, robustness, and instantly recognizable design have captivated globetrotters.

Equipped with the Cal. 3186 automatic movement, which allows the hour hand to move independently, and in combination with the bidirectional rotating bezel, it is possible to read the third time as well. This is a long-selling model that was produced for approximately 19 years (around 1988 to 2007).

It features a popular black and red bezel commonly known as "Coke" and a highly visible design with a red 24-hour hand that stands out against the black dial.
