A Note from the Appraiser

There are scratches and scuffs from use, but the case is thick and has well-defined edges, making it a high-quality, unpolished piece.
The highly rare mahogany dial has minor scratches that are only visible under a magnifying glass, but it is in beautiful condition, and the luminous paint is all tritium.
This watch has been overhauled by the manufacturer and is in excellent overall condition, featuring a wood dial. If you're looking for one, please consider purchasing it.

Product Background

This is a special piece among the vintage Day-Dates manufactured in the 1980s. In addition to the luxury that is unique to the Day-Date, it features a rare natural material dial that was only used on a limited number of models at the time, making it a masterpiece that evokes the craftsmanship that Rolex was proud of at the time.

Model features

Equipped with the Cal. 3055 movement, it features a quick-change date adjustment function. While offering excellent practicality for everyday use, it also combines the warmth of natural materials with the presence of a solid gold model. The deepening grain texture over time is a charm, and it is a very popular model as a collector's piece.

Product design

The case and bracelet are lavishly crafted with yellow gold, and the bezel features a bark finish (a bark-like texture), conveying a sense of individuality and warmth within its substantial presence.
