CPCP "Collection Privée Cartier Paris" was Cartier's highest-end line from around 1998 to around 2008.
This is the see-through back model of "TANK A VIS."
Although there are some scratches and scuffs from use, the case and buckle are in good condition and look sturdy.
The manufacturer will perform a complete service in January 2024, so we especially recommend this product to anyone looking for one.
*Currently, a third-party strap is attached.

Model features

The watch is equipped with Piaget's hand-wound movement "Cal. 9701MC", and the see-through back allows you to see the impressive movement decorated with Cartier's unique "2C logo" pattern.

Product Background

The Tank, designed by Louis Cartier in 1917, was inspired by an aerial view of the Renault tank that was used in the trench warfare of World War I. The CPCP collection was produced as the highest-end line for men from 1998 to 2008.

Product design

It features a rectangular case with a tank motif, which is also a Cartier design code, railway minutes, Roman indexes, and a crown with a sapphire.
