A pioneering anti-magnetic wristwatch designed to meet the demands of engineers and scientists. The watch's name, "Mil," is derived from the French word for "1000," reflecting its ability to withstand magnetic fields of up to 1000 gauss. It is a unique model, unlike any other in the world, where distinctive design and science converge.

The internal shield is crafted from a ferromagnetic alloy carefully selected by Rolex, boasting antimagnetic properties worthy of the Milgauss name. Approximately 20 years after production ceased, the Milgauss made a triumphant return in 2007, featuring its legendary lightning bolt hand. However, to the regret of many, it was discontinued in 2023.

The Ref. 116400GV is an anniversary model, the only Rolex to feature a green sapphire crystal. It revives the lightning bolt seconds hand used in early Rolex Milgauss models, creating a nostalgic look for Rolex enthusiasts and a fresh new face for contemporary users.
