A Note from the Appraiser

The watch has age-appropriate scratches, but the case is in solid condition. The riveted bracelet is also in good condition with almost no stretch. The early meter-first dial shows slight signs of aging, but the luminous material is in good condition, and the tritium lume has beautifully creamed over. As this is a rare 5512 with a meter-first dial, those who are looking for one should definitely consider it. This item has been overhauled by our affiliated workshop.

This was the first Submariner model to feature crown guards. Compared to the Ref. 5513, the Ref. 5512 had a shorter production period and there are fewer of these watches on the market, making it a rare model.
