A Note from the Appraiser

Although there are some minor scuffs and small scratches from use, it is a good example with a non-polished case and sharp bezel edges. It underwent complete service in August 2026. This model originally comes with an alligator strap, but it is currently fitted with a genuine bracelet (the alligator strap and folding buckle are also included). This is a particularly recommended watch for those looking for one, as it is a rare 50th-anniversary model with all accessories included.

The Audemars Piguet "Royal Oak Chronograph," part of their sports collection, was designed by Gerald Genta, a man often referred to as a genius designer, who also created Patek Philippe's famous "Nautilus."

The movement is equipped with the "Cal.4401" which enhances the flyback function, and its beautiful finishing can be admired through the open case back.

The "AP" logo at 12 o'clock on the dial has been removed from previous models, and the subdials are now tone-on-tone.
