This item was manufactured around 1960, so there are scratches on the case and bracelet appropriate for its age.
The mirror dial still retains its luster, giving it a beautiful tropical look.
The president bracelet is a bit wrinkled but is appropriate for the age.
This is a highly recommended vintage Day-Date with a rare Day-Date/mirror dial, alpha hands, and bullet-shaped indexes that create a great atmosphere.

*Some corrections have been made to the index luminous material.

Product Background

When it was released in 1956, it was the world's first wristwatch to display the date and the day of the week in full. It is Rolex's highest-end model, available only in rare materials such as gold and platinum. The bracelet that comes with it is called the "President Bracelet" after it was given to the then US President Eisenhower.
