A Note from the Appraiser

The case and buckle have some scuffs from use, but there are no noticeable dents and the piece appears sturdy.
This model is made of 18KYG material, which is rare for Panerai, and is a recommended item that goes extremely well with the black carbon dial.
The pillow is showing signs of deterioration.

Product Background

In the 1940s, Panerai was tasked with designing a watch for the Italian Navy's special forces to equip them with. This model was developed to meet the demands of special forces for underwater missions, where a margin of error of a few seconds is the key to success.

Model features

It is equipped with the special movement "Cal.OP III" supplied exclusively to Panerai, and is a COSC-certified chronometer.
